fit coupleWith summer finally here, a lot of people find themselves wondering how they can get rid of those few extra stubborn pounds that stands between them and a lean and tight stomach.

If you are one of those people that may have put on a couple of extra pounds during the winter months, there is a way to get those stubborn pounds off quickly.

There are several great fat burning stomach exercises that can be used in conjunction with the Flex Belt to help you get the results you are looking for. Some routines are better than others, but these specific exercises were designed for shedding unwanted stomach fat.

The Seated Torso Twist

You will need to be in a seated position on the floor to do this exercise. You will need to keep your knees bent, at about hip width, to allow your feet to remain flat on the floor.

Next, interlock your fingers and extend your arms straight out in front of you. Lean back about 45 degrees while contracting your abdominals. You need to twist your torso as far to the side as you can comfortably while keeping your stomach muscles contracted.

This motion should be controlled with your abdominal muscles so that your so that your upper body moves in unison. While your arms should remain locked in front of you, they should not be leading this exercise. Once you have gone as far to the one side as you are able, slowly move back to the center position.

At this point you should slowly repeat this process for the other side. The key to this workout is to keep the movement slow, steady and controlled without allowing momentum to become a part of the exercise.

Here is an example video of Russian Twists. they are a little more difficult to do, but you will get the general idea of the exercise.



The Hip Lift

This exercise is also done from the floor or a comparable flat surface while lying on your back. It might be a good idea to use a bath towel or exercise mat to help you cushion your spine if you need it.

Your arms should be placed at your sides with the palms of your hands facing the ceiling. At this point, raise your legs so that the soles of the feet are also facing the ceiling. Your legs and mid section should be at about 90 degree angle with your legs being kept as straight as possible.

At this point you should contract your abdominal muscles while slightly lifting your hips off the floor a couple of inches. Your stomach should feel like it is being pushed toward your spine. Hold this position for a few seconds then slowly allow your hips to go back to the floor.



These two exercises are great for helping you get rid of unwanted abdominal fat. When combined with The Flex Belt, you can see results very quickly.
